Industrial Mechanic Instructor

Job Summary

The College of New Caledonia is looking for a sessional instructor to teach in the Industrial Mechanic Program. Skills & Qualifications • An Interprovincial Trades Qualification in the Industrial Mechanic trade.
• Five years of experience working as a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic in a number of industrial settings.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are current in the trade and who have recent proven teaching and/or supervisory experience.
• The successful candidate should be able to deal effectively with students on an individual or group basis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams) is required.
• Completion of the Provincial Instructor’s Diploma Program (PIDP) would be considered an asset.
