Industrial Mechanic/Millwright - Maintenance and Operations

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Maintenance and Operations, the Industrial Mechanic/Millwright participates in activities related to the maintenance and operation of the physical plant and associated services within the facility by performing duties including, but not limited to:

- assisting in the orientation and instruction of other staff;
- keeping appropriate records, statistics, progress notes, inventories and other related data;
- participating in a preventative maintenance program;
- keeping the Assistant Manager informed of department activities, needs and problems and fixing problems themselves as is possible and appropriate;
- requisitioning and replenishing supplies;
- keeping equipment clean and in good working order;
- reporting any malfunctioning equipment;
