Injection Molding Set Up Technician

Salary Range: $25.00 To $28.00 Hourly

What you will do:

• Set up and install molds in injection molding machine according to work order
• Set up ancillary equipment as related to the molding process
• Set up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal and trimming
• Performs mold changes according to production schedule
• Perform insert changes to molds according to production schedule
• Follow and document process parameters to ensure repeatable results
• Ensure the machine and work area is clean and organized before production is started.
• Use a crane hoist to move molds through the plant and for mold changes
• Proper handling and care of all materials, molds and tools
• Use troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable molding processes
• Ensure clear and consistent communication between shifts
