Make a difference as the Innu Employment Coordinator within our People and Community team in Voisey’s Bay, Labrador. This role focuses on supporting Innu Nation members in finding job opportunities and community integration.
In your capacity, you will coordinate recruitment and skill development initiatives for Innu individuals at the Voisey’s Bay Mine Site. Attend candidate interviews to ensure a respectful selection process and facilitate events that strengthen community ties. You will collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to identify qualified Indigenous employees and advocate for their needs within the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in hiring Innu Nation candidates for available positions
• Attend interviews providing translation support as needed
• Organize events in Innu communities and onsite
