Inside Sales Representative

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Create sales and complete the order process, including offering pricing and terms according to established margins and generating sales orders
• Ensure customers are provided with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information
• Prepare quotations and process orders on behalf of other sales staff when needed
• Respond to customers’ requests and inquiries in a timely manner, including advising on detailed product knowledge
• Manage product lines within the branch, including managing inventory, pricing, product knowledge training, attending national calls, and being accountable for turns and earnings
• Conduct outside sales calls, oversee inventory management, and monitor commodity market pricing

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred – 3-5 years lumber/panel trading and/or buying experience
