Position Overview

SIIT is recruiting an Instructor for the Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professional program (formerly Mental Health & Wellness Program). The instructor will be responsible for delivering SIIT programs and curricula with the purpose of promoting student success. This role organizes and implements instructional activities to create a learning environment that guides and provides the greatest opportunity for student success, positively promotes the Institute’s vision, mission, and mandate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and appropriate planning documents for course delivery
• Incorporate current technology advancements within instruction and administration where applicable
• Complete all course-required materials including attendance records and course evaluations
