Position: Governance Officer (temporary replacement). Job type: Employee. Anticipated duration: 12 months. Hours per week: 35. Salary range: $85,910.00 – $107,388.00. Location: Main Campus. Department: Administration Office, Office of the Vice-President, Governance. The Office of the Secretary General supports the University of Ottawa’s bicameral governance system and related statutory and policy requirements.

Position purpose
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Governance Officer provides professional support and services to the University of Ottawa’s Board of Governors, the Senate, and their respective committees, and administers a full range of governance functions to ensure sound, timely decision-making processes.
