Responsibilities

• Supervises Route Supervision team (Mobile, Transit Control) and oversees daily service delivery to ensure work is performed effectively and efficiently in accordance with transit standards, service levels, system policies, procedures and legislated requirements.
• Co‑ordinates on‑route strategy and directs inspectors’ actions in response to service breakdowns, change offs, detours, emergencies, and collisions.
• Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to transit operations and provides thoughtful corrective actions toward service goals.
• Develops and manages inspectors’ work schedules according to priorities and ensures coverage is always provided.
• Provides strong leadership, coaching and guidance to Inspectors.
• Recruits, trains, motivates, manages and evaluates Inspectors.
