Step into a key role at the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association as a Laboratory Technician 3, focused on sample preparation and diagnostic testing. This temporary position requires flexibility in shift patterns.
EORLA is hiring for a temporary Laboratory Technician position that will last until July 2027. You will manage the collection, accessioning, and preparation of samples while ensuring accuracy in reporting results. Candidates should also be prepared to guide newer team members and assist with resolving specimen issues as operations change.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accession and prepare all diagnostic samples accurately
• Report clinical results in a timely manner
• Identify and resolve issues with unsuitable specimens
• Train new team members and rotate functional roles
