The Journeyman Powerline Technicians will be responsible for installing and maintaining overhead, underground, transmission, and distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints or process specifications
- Perform line maintenance in a safe efficient manner utilizing de-energized, live line hot stick or live line rubber glove techniques on voltages up to and including 44KV.
- Safe operation of heavy equipment including Radial Boom Diggers, Line Trucks and all terrain equipment as required
- Operate and maintain such hand tools as may be required for the job including blocks, grips, jacks, hot line tools and cover up, etc.
