Journeyperson Welder Required at AltaSteel

AltaSteel seeks a Safety-conscious Journeyperson Welder to bolster our Maintenance team. Perform crucial plant welding repairs and engage in vital shop projects.
This permanent, full-time role focuses on structural welding repairs and supporting production with timely, high-quality output. You will mostly work with mild steel using SMAW and FCAW, while also tackling some stainless steel and aluminum jobs. Follow all safety practices to maintain a secure workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute structural welding repairs on plant infrastructure
• Support production through efficient welding contributions
• Manage fabrication and rebuild projects in the fab shop
• Utilize SMAW and FCAW processes for welding tasks
• Accurately interpret blueprints and technical documents
Requirements:
• Journeyman Alberta Welder or Red Seal certification
