Role Description
Join our healthcare team as a Lab Patient Technician focused on patient specimen collection in Milton. This pivotal part-time role ensures excellent patient care and operational quality.
You will greet patients, perform crucial tests, and manage specimen preparation and transportation. In addition, maintaining relationships with clients and demonstrating empathy under pressure are key parts of this work. You'll be crucial in ensuring all documentation and data entry are accurate to facilitate test results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and discuss specimen collection processes
• Conduct phlebotomies and ECG procedures
• Complete necessary legal test collections and documentation
• Engage with clients to address inquiries and requests
• Prepare specimens for testing and secure transport
Requirements:
• Preferred graduate from a Laboratory Assistant program
• Experience in phlebotomy is advantageous
• ECG experience highly regarded
