Laboratory Technician, Biocenter Oulu Electron Microscopy Core Facility

Laboratory Technician

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join the Biocenter Oulu Electron Microscopy (EM) Core Facility. The facility provides sample preparation and imaging services to local, national and international research communities. The role focuses on biological EM, including specimen preparation for imaging (fixation, embedding, sectioning, staining) and use of laboratory methods such as buffer and staining solution preparation.

About The Job

The Laboratory Technician will be part of a skilled and dedicated team that supports the operation of the Biocenter Oulu EM Core Facility, a research infrastructure affiliated with the Research Council of Finland’s roadmap for Finnish research infrastructures and EuroBioImaging ERIC.
