Law Clerk - 18 Month Contract

This is a contract position intended to cover an 18-month maternity leave. The Contract Law Clerk will be a member of the in-house Demant Canada Legal Team reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance – Canada. The Demant Canada Legal Team provides legal support to all business units operating within Canada (Hearing Care, Hearing Aids and Diagnostics). You will be responsible for providing legal and administrative support to the Senior Law Clerk and three lawyers in the Demant Canada Legal Team in the areas of corporate transactions, corporate records management, financing and loans, due diligence and legal administrative operations, overseeing, supporting and executing corporate and transactional work. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational ability, analytical skills and be detail-oriented with the confidence to operate with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. This position is based out of North York. Hybrid – 2 days in office.
