Lawyer 2 – Administrative and Employment Law Group

Location: Chancery Place, 675 King Street, Fredericton, NB

About the Role

The successful candidate will be assigned to the Administrative and Employment Law Group and work with other lawyers in a team setting. Responsibilities include appearing in all levels of courts and before administrative boards and tribunals on matters pertaining to administrative, employment and labour law. The successful candidate will also conduct research in specialized areas of the law and provide legal opinions and advice to government departments and agencies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Law degree.
• Membership in good standing or eligibility for membership in good standing with the Law Society of New Brunswick.
• Minimum of 8 years at the bar.
• Significant recent experience in administrative and employment law commensurate with the candidate’s years at the bar.
