Role Description

Join as a Legal Counsel in a hybrid role focused on regulatory hearings. Provide independent legal support and ensure the integrity of decision-making processes across the organization.

Reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel, you will play an essential role in the Hearings Office, aiding Hearing Committees with impartiality and clarity. The position requires a solid understanding of administrative law and adherence to the rules of evidence.

Key Responsibilities: • Participate in the full hearing process • Provide legal advice to panels and decision-makers • Conduct research and draft legal documents • Make recommendations for regulatory processes • Guide cross-functional projects legally

Requirements: • Law Degree (LL.B., J.D., or LL.L.) • Minimum 5 years of legal or litigation experience • Member in good standing of a Canadian law society • Knowledge of administrative law and securities regulations • Strong communication and analytical skills
