This full-time position in the East Region reports to the Legal Services Manager, offering legal guidance to Agency staff while upholding Indigenous cultural identity. This role emphasizes the importance of alternative dispute resolution and supporting families with case planning and management. You'll ensure that the rights of youth and families are respected within legislative frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support case management and cultural identity development
• Provide legal training to Agency personnel
• Represent Agency in judicial matters and hearings
• Draft briefs, affidavits, and legal documents
• Conduct legal research on current legislation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree, LL.B., or Juris Doctor
• Minimum 2 years in Family Law practice
