Role Description
Become an integral part of AECOM's archaeological team in London, Ontario, as a Field Technician focused on artifact recovery and training support.
In this on-site, full-time role, you will support archaeological fieldwork stages under a Field Supervisor's guidance. Your responsibilities include identifying artifacts and ensuring safety, all while traveling across Ontario. This position requires effective communication and a commitment to respecting Indigenous cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support archaeological fieldwork under expert supervision
• Identify and recover artifacts from relevant cultures
• Follow all health and safety protocols in the field
• Maintain readiness for extensive travel across Ontario
• Lead and train junior team members in field operations
Requirements:
• High school diploma minimum qualification
• Relevant experience necessary for levels II and above
• Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs
