Limited Term Faculty (LTF) Position in Media Production (Old Toronto)

Overview

The RTA School of Media at The Creative School, Toronto Metropolitan University, invites applications for a Limited Term Faculty (LTF) position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Media Production. The appointment will be effective July1,2026 for a one‑year term, subject to final budgetary approval.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise undergraduate students, including courses RTA315 Business of Creative Media and RTA210 Media History.
• Engage in faculty teaching and service duties while maintaining an inclusive, equitable, and collegial work environment.
• Contribute to the undergraduate BA program through mentoring, supervision, and support of junior scholars, and help diversify the field.
• Fulfill service obligations to the School of Media and the University, including program administration, student advisement, and curricular development.
