Loader Operator

Job Description

The Loader Operator in Grande Prairie, Alberta is responsible for using loaders, forklifts and other equipment provided to load, offload, move and store customer inventory.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Operating industrial equipment such as forklifts, winches and other devices to load and unload pipe and other materials onto and off trucks, railway cars and storage areas.
• Transporting materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks, and storing or retrieving them from yard storage.
• Maintaining storage racks and storage areas under the direction and supervision of the District Manager.
• Moving pipe during inspection and repair processes, assisting in pipe yard maintenance and the construction of pipe racks.
