Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• Class 1/1F/A license (semi-trailer trucks).
• Experience in the field is an asset.
• Knowledge of language requirements as listed in the posting.
