Role Description

Qualifications

  • Education: Licensed Machinist or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years'' work experience in a machine and fabrication shop setting or engineering department of a manufacturer with heavy machining capabilities.
  • Interpret blueprint drawings and accurately read various measuring tools.
  • Understanding of machinery and equipment and material tolerances.
  • Solid understanding of quality control and working to quality standards.
  • Must have positive time management, problem-solving skills, initiative and commitment to tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with training of new and existing employees on proper usage of measuring equipment and ISO Quality Policies and Procedures.
  • Inspect all machined and fabricated jobs to ensure compliance with drawing, process and customer specifications.
