Maintenance Mechanic

Job Purpose

The Maintenance Mechanic provides technical support by maintaining, repairing, setting‑up, performing machine adjustments to equipment pertaining to the production of Sun drug products, including but not limited to filling, packaging, and compounding, as well as facilities equipment, and is responsible for the performance of the production lines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to perform maintenance related activities, including setup, changeover, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of pharmaceutical packaging, compounding, and all supporting auxiliary equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and execute planned repairs to improve equipment reliability and packaging and manufacturing efficiency, ensuring all repairs are completed as per the appropriate equipment manuals without deviating from validated parameters.
