Role Description
Lead the communication strategies for impactful infrastructure projects as the Manager, Public Affairs and Communications in the NWT government. Engage diverse audiences through clear, strategic messaging.
In the Department of Infrastructure, this vital role focuses on enhancing public understanding of key projects affecting the Northwest Territories. You will develop, coordinate, and implement communication plans that effectively communicate the vision and significance of major initiatives to stakeholders, including Indigenous communities and the media.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop communication strategies that promote project objectives
• Produce and oversee multimedia promotional materials
• Supervise media relations and stakeholder engagement efforts
• Ensure messages are accessible and compelling
• Navigate complex regulatory environments for effective communication
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
