Role Description
Elevate manufacturing efficiency with FTAI Aviation as a Manufacturing Engineer in Tooling. Drive the assembly of new aeroderivative engines, focusing on operational excellence and safety standards.
In this hands-on role, you'll directly support the ramp-up of the CFM56-5B engine program. Your expertise will enhance tooling, fixtures, and assembly methods on the shop floor, ensuring a smooth and safe production process. Collaborating closely with aerotechnicians, you will gather insights and translate feedback into valuable improvements, optimizing production rates and minimizing risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee tooling and equipment readiness for engine assembly
• Implement ergonomic and repeatability improvements in assembly
• Maintain a hands-on role throughout the assembly process
• Identify execution challenges alongside aerotechnicians
• Support Make-Ready and ramp-up operations effectively
