Role Description
SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for leading process improvements in the manufacturing cells associated and production lines.
This position will maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
He/she will be responsible for the process flow and documentation of standard work as well as the design & validation of new tools, fixtures and machines.
Besides this position will support site wide, and the Shop floor continuous improvement efforts within the two Value Streams in the whole plant.
Critical Competencies
Demonstrated understanding of common manufacturing processes, equipment or machinery.
Ability to perform manufacturing analysis and estimate cost of labor, equipment, material and assembly capabilities.
