Role Description
Support high school learners as a Math and Science Educator in this part-time, in-person role based in Scarborough. Ideal for those with a passion for teaching diverse subjects and engaging students.
This role requires candidates who are well-versed in the current high school math and science curricula. You will be responsible for teaching small groups and adapting lessons to meet the needs of each student. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a desire to cultivate a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver instruction to 3 students at different levels
• Provide tutoring sessions both in-person and online
• Adhere to prescribed teaching methodologies
• Maintain thorough post-lesson notes
• Update families on student progress regularly
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification
• Comprehensive knowledge of Grades 9–12 content
