Mechanical Specialist 2 (West)

Job Summary

In this role, the professional will be responsible for leading different areas of the mechanical discipline in pre‑commissioning projects of acidic water treatment plants. The responsibilities include managing remote pumping of acidic water from leaching pools to treatment plants, overseeing ultrafiltration processes, reverse osmosis, active media filters, high‑density sludge (HDS), oxidation reactors, lime plants, various pumps and industrial air compressors, and ensuring the technical and functional responsibility for electromechanical and safety equipment. The role requires integrated collaboration with process, instrumentation, control, electrical, and ES&H disciplines to ensure all pre‑commissioning, vacuum, and water activities are performed safely, efficiently, and reliably.
