Project Overview
Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is located 800 km northeast of Lima, Peru. It is South America’s largest gold mine. The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (West: 3,000 m³/hour, East: 2,700 m³/hour). Early works are preparing permanent platforms and laydown areas for the East and West plants.
Job Summary
Lead various mechanical discipline areas in pre‑commissioning of acidic water treatment plants, responsible for electromechanical and safety equipment requirements. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable pre‑commissioning, vacuum, and water activities.
