Role Description
TheMechanical Supervisor (MES) supervises the General Construction Contractor(GCC) activities for their own discipline, ensuring that the Constructionworks are performed according to the erection schedules and Projectdocuments, within the assigned cost budget, and according to Quality &Safety procedures, as well subcontract.
Dutiesand responsibilities
Prior to the start ofworks, to check VENDOR’s material and technical documentation deliveryschedule, verifying that the same is in line with Construction schedulesand contractual commitments;
Prior to the start ofworks, to control and approve the Method Statements submitted by GCCensuring their correct application on the field;
Check that the schedule isupdated and to promote action to recover any delay;
Check that the equipmentand manpower employed by GCC are adequate and that the works performedby GCC conform to design documents, Safety regulations, and to theQuality level fixed by the same;
