Medical Collections Specialist — PIP / LOP / Workers’ Comp

We’re looking for a seasoned Medical Collections Specialist who is well versed in PIP, LOP, and Workers’ Comp collections. You’ll be part of the team responsible for the back end of our revenue cycle across multi-specialty medical practice including but not limited to chiropractic, orthopedic, diagnostic, physical therapy, and pain management service lines. You’ll push PIP carriers past reductions and denials, keep law firms honest on LOP cases, and stay on top of WC adjusters until claims are paid. The right person is tenacious, organized, and unbothered by long follow-up cycles. LOP case can sit for two years before it settles, and you have a system to make sure nothing gets lost in the meantime.

• Work aging PIP A/R — follow up with carriers on unpaid, underpaid, and reduced claims
