Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Core Laboratory, you will provide professional Core Laboratory services. You may be scheduled at any SHN hospital based on departmental needs.

Requirements

• Must have a current General Certificate of Registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologist of Ontario (CMLTO) in the five specialties – Chemistry, Microbiology, Histology, Haematology and Immunohematology.
• Must be able to work independently in Core Laboratory.
• Well‑developed interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates a commitment to customer service when dealing with patients, colleagues and volunteers and other members of the community and public.
