Emergency Medicine Specialists (FRCPC(EM)) are vital members of the CAF Medical Specialist occupation. You will serve on multidisciplinary emergency teams and Forward Air Evacuation teams, delivering urgent care to injured CAF members. This role also involves mentoring others in best practices and maintaining high clinical competency by working in civilian hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary emergency resuscitation teams
• Provide care during Forward Air Evacuations
• Educate and mentor fellow emergency medicine providers
• Maintain clinical skills in civilian healthcare settings
• Develop and apply healthcare policies within the CAF
