Position Overview

In this full‑time seasonal position as a mill operator your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to operating milling machines to create asphalt products (emulsions, aggregates, etc.) while ensuring that all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations department are being followed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manufacturing asphaltic products, loading/offloading trucks, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and general labour at the Brampton Terminal.
• Maintaining a controlled environment in the mill room to ensure proper operation of the milling machine.
• May perform additional incidental tasks, as directed by the facility manager.
