Become a key figure in mining operations as the Underground Mine Superintendent for Eldorado Gold in McIlvenna Bay. This full-time position focuses on safety, leadership, and production efficiency.
Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan is looking for a seasoned professional to manage mining activities at its significant copper development project. This role entails a 14/14 rotation, leading miners, equipment operators, and support staff while ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safety-first culture. You will also play a critical role in optimizing resource allocation and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee mining activities and enforce safety protocols
• Lead training and performance feedback for mining crews
• Implement reclamation and environmental practices
• Manage ore stockpile and transportation logistics
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and enhance operational efficiency
Requirements:
• 10+ years of relevant mining experience
