Reporting to: MYP Coordinator, Head of SecondaryLiaising with: Other language teachersThe Mandarin Teacher creates meaningful, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences that support the linguistic, academic, social, and emotional development of learners within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).The role promotes inquiry, intercultural understanding, international-mindedness, and student agency while developing learners’ confidence and proficiency in Mandarin Chinese as a language for communication, expression, and cultural understanding.All St Nicholas employees are expected to become involved in the school’s pastoral and co-curricular life, including after-school activities and occasional community events.
