Role Description
ABOUT THE POSITIONThe NDT FPI Engineer is in charge of executing the inter-operations inspections of non-destructive tests to determine acceptance or rejection of production parts in accordance with written instructions.
RESPOSIBILITIES
Interpret and evaluate the results of non-destructive tests according to the applicable codes, standards and specifications.
Participate in the overall improvement of process layout / facilities, methodologies & techniques of NDT FPI.
Generate acceptance or rejection reports.
Configure and calibrate equipment to perform non-destructive duties.
Develop work instructions according to general procedures, to later be approved by the Level III.
Provide advice and/or supervision to assigned NDT Trainees in the technique-method for which they are certified.
Participate in internal/external audits.
Perform NDT part preparation and inspection according to customer specifications and internal instructions defined by the NDT Level III.
