Neighbourhood Support Worker - Casual

Works with the nursing staff in providing Resident meal service with dignity and kindness. Performs routine cleaning of common areas. Maintains cleanliness of equipment and the work area. Performs other related duties as assigned. All duties are performed in accordance with CapitalCare mission, vision and values as well as approved standards, departmental policies, procedures and time schedules. Percentage of time spent performing duties in each category may vary from site to site

Education: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent is required. Must have the ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language and to follow written and oral directions
Experience: Previous related experience in a health care setting or hospitality industry is desired Certificate in Food Safe is an asset. An equivalent combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.
