Who will you be working with?
The NPI Buyer will manage the procurement process for all NPI parts of assigned commodities, own the day-to-day management of a group of suppliers, and be the point of contact between supplier and Wabtec. The position requires an understanding of the concepts, methods and procedures necessary to enable sourcing execution, while adhering to standard work.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the NPI Fulfillment group, you will primarily be responsible for the qualification of new products and management of purchase orders. You will interface with suppliers and internal Wabtec customers daily. The position provides opportunities to work closely with sourcing, quality, engineering, and manufacturing operations. This position is an integral part of how we deliver finished products to our integral customers.
