Role Description

Long Term Occasional Teaching Position 1.0 FTE Itinerant Literacy Intervention Teacher Itinerant Literacy Intervention Teachers support Early Reading Screening, literacy development, language acquisition and literacy intervention in elementary schools. The role is integral to ensuring that all students receive high-quality, data-informed literacy instruction and early intervention, fostering academic achievement and equitable learning opportunities for all. This assignment is being posted subsequent to Article 17.1.3 The Hiring of Occasional Teachers to Long Term Assignments found in the Central Terms of the Board’s collective agreements with OECTA. The end date is subject to change, however, this assignment will not extend beyond the end of the current school year.
