Role Description
Responsibilities
Use COMSOL and CST Microwave Studio for modeling. Develop and characterize microwave and quasi-optical setups. Participate in the experimental implementation and optimization of microwave systems for cryogenic experiments. Perform RF measurements and analysis of electromagnetic field distributions and power transfer. Collaborate with researchers working on quantum devices and cryogenic measurement systems. (Required)
PhD or MSc in electrical engineering, applied physics, photonics, or a related field. Background in microwave, millimeter-wave, or terahertz engineering. Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (CST, HFSS, COMSOL, etc.). Experience working with RF laboratory instrumentation (VNAs, signal generators, detectors, etc.).
