Role Description
Join the Polytechnic’s General Counsel’s Office as a Legal Counsel. This full-time position focuses on corporate and commercial legal services while ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
The Legal Counsel will work with leaders across the Polytechnic to provide timely legal advice and services. This position requires a solid understanding of multiple areas including contract management, corporate governance, licensing, and regulatory matters. Your expertise will help support the institution’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate and review various commercial and licensing agreements
• Assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Provide advice on diverse legal matters including IT and intellectual property
• Draft policies for transactions and corporate governance
• Collaborate with internal clients and external counsel regularly

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree
