Role Description
Become a key member of Onslow County Schools as a School Nutrition Assistant. In this role, you will prepare meals and efficiently serve school-age children while upholding safety and sanitation standards.
This position reports to the School Nutrition Manager and requires strong knowledge of food preparation practices. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring meals are served healthy and efficiently. Additionally, you’ll manage cash transactions and engage with students to create a welcoming dining atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals according to strict recipes for portion sizes
• Calculate and measure ingredients for meal preparation
• Serve nutritious meals to school children with care
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and serving areas
• Deliver courteous service to ensure student satisfaction
