Operations Technician

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Operations Technician performs a variety of duties associated with the installation, operation, and advanced maintenance of gas system facilities, including the delivery of customer services in accordance with standards, specifications, and accepted industry practices. As a potential first responder, this includes implementing sound decisions in emergency situations. This position is a permanent full‑time union role.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, operation, and repair of gas system facilities and associated equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot odorant and cathodic protection systems, analyze and maintain associated records.
• Locate, inspect, install, and maintain gas distribution systems involving planned work and emergency response.
