Operative Product Owner for XCS

We develop the software platform for radio products, known as the auxiliary control system (XCS), which runs on Linux.

The role is based in RU Software in Ottawa and involves close collaboration with XCS teams in Sweden, Croatia, and China.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to requirement requests globally within XCS, ensuring clarity, traceability, and timely follow‑up.
• Maintain, prioritise, and visualise the Requirement Area backlog—covering development phases, dependencies, and upcoming work.
• Act as the interface for adding and prioritising all types of backlog items.
• Serve as a key contact in the global XCS OPO network, collaborating across sites to align priorities and dependencies.
• Visualise XCS future plans and capabilities.
• Contribute to XCS strategic plans.
