Elevate student learning as a part-time Teacher Tutor at Oxford Learning in Abbotsford, BC. Focus on developing foundational skills in reading, writing, and math to promote academic success.
Oxford Learning Abbotsford Hillcrest & Clearbrook is looking for passionate teacher-tutors for the school year. Tailor your teaching approach to assist elementary and high school students in subjects like physics, chemistry, and language skills. In-person sessions will utilize our effective teaching philosophies and methods of engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lessons for up to three students at once
• Implement Oxford Learning's tutoring methodologies
• Document daily student interactions and progress
• Maintain a vibrant and professional classroom atmosphere
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification preferred
• Experience teaching or tutoring desired
• Strong command of English and preferably French
