Part-Time Academic: (GWST 2110.03, Special Topics in Gender & Women’s Studies: Topic: Gender, Sexuality and Pop Culture) - Summer 2026

GWST Special Topics in Gender & Women’s Studies, Online-Asynchronous (SUMMER (B1): July 6, 2026 – July 27, 2026) .

The part-time academic’s duties include responsibility for planning the course in conjunction with the Coordinator, teaching the class, evaluating the students, holding regular office hours, and administration relating to the class. As an asynchronous summer course, the instructor will prepare and deliver 36 hours of instruction across three weeks, or 12 hours per week, perhaps 3 hours per day of pre-recorded lectures, activities, evaluations. The part-time academic must be available 2 hours per week for consultation with students. This position will report to the Coordinator of Gender and Women’s Studies. This course has an enrolment of up to 100 students.
