Job Summary
A part-time academic is required to teach HIST Topics in the History of Law and Justice: Social Justice in the United States in the Fall 2026 Term (1 September to 31 December, 2026).
This course explores organized resistance to state-sanctioned oppression and marginalization throughout the twentieth century in the United States. We will study the history and historiography of this topic from an intersectional perspective – most of the topics of the course concern communities of colour, women, and queer and trans people, and the authors that we will read are often a member of those communities themselves.
