Role Description
Become a Dietary Aide with Extendicare and provide personalized food service to residents in a Long Term Care home. This part-time position is focused on maintaining meal quality while adhering to specific dietary needs.
Extendicare is seeking a Dietary Aide to serve food based on residents' preferences and assist with food preparation. You will clear tables, ensure proper food storage, and participate in safety and quality assurance protocols. Adaptability for a variety of shifts, including weekends, is important in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals in accordance with dietary needs
• Assist in food preparation and cleaning tasks
• Operate dishwashers and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Participate in food storage & labeling processes
• Follow safety protocols and attend mandatory meetings
Requirements:
• Completion or enrollment in Food Service Worker Program
