Role Description

Pastry and cold section chef position within Hovdestøylen, a high‑quality alpine destination. The role reports directly to the Head Chef and focuses on desserts, baking, and sweet flavors.

Work Assignments

  • Mice en place
  • Preparation of hot and cold food
  • Ensure that all guests have a very good dining experience
  • Ensure that the area is tidy and presentable
  • HACCP control
  • Contribute to a good atmosphere in the kitchen
  • General kitchen/dishwashing work

Wanted Qualifications

  • Good professional knowledge, preferably with a focus on pastry, desserts, and starters
  • Basic knowledge of Nordic and international cuisine
  • Experience from similar positions
  • High degree of flexibility to cope with rapid changes and decisions
  • Speak fluent Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language) and/or English
  • Benefit from a driving licence and car
